E-Commerce Sales Consultant

About the Role

We’re in the market for fresh talent! As an E-commerce Sales Consultant you’ll be at the heart of our team and part of a large family who work hard to deliver an amazing customer service deserving of recommendation. You will be based at our Lucas Furniture store in Aylesbury working alongside our fantastic team of experts. 

This is an exciting opportunity for you to really make your own. It will be your job to help customers make the right choice when it comes to buying furniture online. Interacting with customers across all channels, including email, web chat and phone to create a smooth and seamless customer experience. You will represent the brand and vision in a fun and friendly manner, communicating enthusiastically with our customers and deliver fantastic service, supporting our online customers in finding the right furniture for their home and lifestyle. 

We’re looking for someone positive, engaging and dynamic who understands the customer journey and what it takes to maximise sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to customers and understand their needs, offer expert advice that’s right for the customer.
• Guide customers through the buying process.
• Create a smooth customer experience no matter how or where a customer reaches out to you. Embracing all omni-channel options so our customers can choose the best way for them to purchase.
• Help customers with general sales queries and inspire them with options.
• Actively pursue all leads and follow up leads, keeping in touch with customers to generate future conversions.
• Deliver effective care advice to ensure the customer has the knowledge to make the right choice and offer additional products to help the customer care for their new furniture.
• Be a team player, work with your colleagues across the company to promote a positive work environment.
