mayfair medium recliner chair & stool classic base

Upholstered in premium leather, this Stressless® reclining chair features a softer, more generous layer of cushioning than many traditional ergonomic seats, making it a firm favourite for long evenings of relaxing. Built on the iconic two-stem Classic Base in a natural oak finish, it provides an exceptionally stable foundation with a smooth 360-degree swivel action that allows you to easily turn toward the TV or a conversation. The patented Glide system is designed to respond effortlessly to your movement, automatically adjusting the recline based on your body weight so you can find your preferred angle simply by leaning back.

Available online in four popular leather and wood finish combinations for quick delivery. You can also explore an even wider selection of leathers, fabrics, colours, and wood finishes in-store, allowing you to tailor your Mayfair to suit your home perfectly.

As you sit back, the internal Plus system automatically coordinates the frame to keep your neck, shoulders, and lower lumbar region perfectly supported, meaning your head stays naturally level for reading or watching TV. If you want to nod off, a simple hand adjustment engages the built-in sleep function, allowing the headrest to drop completely flat for a comfortable nap. The matching footstool features its own built-in tilt function that follows your leg movements as you recline, and the entire internal steel frame and tension springs are fully protected by a reassuring 10-year mechanism guarantee.
